The meat processing company SQuality Meat in Almere is specialised in processing veal and lamb in the high-end sectors. The innovative company, which has been manufacturing for almost a year with great success, has been working for the last six months with ReflexSystems' software.

A logistic bottleneck started to arise at the end of the cutting line due to the increased amount of kilo's to process. All finished products should be provided with a label with the legally required data regarding beef tracing. However, the office workers had to keep fetching new labels and, given that all the individual cuts are referred to by name on the label, it was almost impossible to still have an overall view of the number of label rolls in the production.

However, this overall view has been brought back with the arrival of ReflexSystems' Mini Flex CT. The Mini Flex CT enables a label to be printed with the relevant article and batch data. Once the cuts have been vacuum-packed, they are provided with the label from the label printer coupled to the Mini Flex CT. The Mini Flex CT is directly coupled to the network to ensure that the correct data from the central system is printed on the label.
