Supermarket chain Boni has made the strategic decision to produce its own meat products from now on rather than buying them pre-packaged from other sources. This decision fits in with Boni's concept, which is based on three key elements:

• The best supermarket locally
• The lowest priced groceries
• Well-stocked with fresh produce

Boni has bought premises in Nijkerk, which is currently being equipped for food production. The versatile, user-friendly and complete system by ReflexSystems has been chosen by Boni to provide automation. The Reflex 3000 modular-based software and the fully integrated industrial Flex 3000 CT hardware have proved to be the best.

Reflex 3000 will be used initially on the workfloor for purchasing, tracing, stock control, order processing and the control of the automatic weighing and labelling lines. The office will use the extensive options for costing, the diversity of management information and flexible invoicing.
